Bio
Hello! My name is Caitlin James. I am a local to Tampa, FL.
Welcome to Cherished Chapters Tutoring. Here, my mission is to help young children succeed and excel with reading, writing, and speaking English. After I graduated from college almost two years ago, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my English degree. I just knew that whatever I decided to do, wherever I landed, I wanted to be able to make an impact on someone's life. When the opportunity to become a part-time tutor came to me, I took it and never looked back. Tutoring has unlocked a hidden passion inside me. All students, especially children, require patience and positive reinforcement to thrive, I can provide that. All students have potential and deserve to be nurtured in a positive and loving environment to get ahead. I had this environment growing up and I want to be able to give that back to others.
Education
I attended Florida Southern College, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English. I graduated top of my class, Summa Cum Laude, and completed the Honors Program. It was there that I further enriched my passion for reading and solidified my work ethic, perseverance, and tenacity for success.

Before college, I graduated from Tampa Catholic High School, also with honors.
Employment
I have spent the past two years as an Editor and Freelance Tutor. Now I am starting my own business to see this passion grow into something greater. It is my hope that I will be able to reach and help more children discover the joys of reading on this endeavor.
